My husband and I will be staying in 1BR unit in March. Need help choosing hotel. Which is better choice? Any comments appreciated.
Carlsbad Inn or Pacific Palisades.?? Please help
Depends on what you%26#39;re planning to do. The Carlsbad Inn is just a couple blocks from the ocean, and located in the ';village'; of Carlsbad, so there are many nice restaurants and shops in the area, as well as easy access to the Coaster (commuter train) if you would want to go downtown, but not have to drive. If your plans are to visit the beach, then this would be your best choice.
Pacific Palisades is a good choice if you%26#39;re planning to visit Legoland, as it is very close-by. It%26#39;s a newer hotel, but more isolated, and not quite as convenient in my opinion, but if you don%26#39;t mind driving, it%26#39;s also close to some good restaurants and the Carlsbad Outlet Mall.

The Pacific Palisades is also located just above the flower fields which should start blooming in March.
