San Francisco in 2 days!

Hi All

I will be in San Fran for 2 days only in May this year, would ideally like to see as much as possible in this time, does anyone have any recommendations for MUST SEE stuff? I have never been before!

Also, any opinions on the location of the Boheme Hotel? Thanks! : )

San Francisco in 2 days!

The Boheme is located in North Beach, which is a safe area and has restaurants, etc. Its entrance leads to a stairway....the hotel is on the second floor of the building.

If you type Hotel Boheme in the search box above you will see some threads discussing it.

What kind of things do you like to do? Sightsee, museums, shopping, hiking? Check out the ';Things to Do'; area on the left side of the screen.

Here%26#39;s a very incomplete list:

Alcatraz (requires pre-booking)

cable cars

shopping at Union Square

MOMA/DeYoung/Asian/Legion of Honor museums

take a walking tour (www.cityguides.org)

Chinatown (fortune cookie factory in Ross Alley)

North Beach

Exploratorium

Bike Crissy field and across the Golden Gate Bridge

The Boheme is in North Beach. There was someone here recently who stayed there and enjoyed it. Search this forum and you%26#39;ll find her comments.

I may be that someone Sal mentioned. My husband and I stayed at Hotel Bohème for two nights in October -- our first time in SF. You can see my review “Living SMALL and WELL in North Beach” at tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g60713-d1123…

Yes, add Boheme to the list I gave you so you can compare. Boheme is in North Beach where there a lot of restaurants and it%26#39;s a fairly short walk to Union Square for shopping.

We have stayed at the Andrews and the Chancellor (my favorite of the two) but not at the Boheme. PatPicks gives it a pretty good review. It is more like a bed and breakfast, I believe, and the entrance opens on a stairway, since the hotel begins on the second floor, The location is good.

Sorry, it was another poster I told to look at the Andrews and the Chancellor. Here they are if you want to compare prices.

Good luck.
