palm desert condos - desert falls or palm valley

I am trying to decide between a condo in Desert Falls CC or Palm Valley. Can anyoen provide any help?

Both are located in the same area off Country Club Drive in Palm Desert, almost next to each other. Either one would be fine if you have already found units you like, and how the furniture looks. We%26#39;ve stayed at Desert Falls and I really like the floor plans of the 3 bed condos.

Desert Falls has a nice restaurant attached to the club house, open to the public. I don%26#39;t play golf, so I couldn%26#39;t compare courses.

Thank you for the information. I am traveling with my family including a 12 year old boy and 16 year old girl. Do you think they enjoy Desert Falls or should I go to a resort like the Grand Hyatt.

When are you going? If it%26#39;s hot weather, the Hyatt Grand Champion is great, with 7 pools and lots of shade palm trees. We stay on the Regency level, which includes breakfast, snacks, and evening cocktail hour on the top floor, so don%26#39;t need a kitchen, as we like to go out to restaurants for dinner anyway. We get two connecting rooms for our family.

The pools at Desert Falls (and all the condos we%26#39;ve rented through the years) are nice, and sprinkled throughout the golf resorts in handy locations, but in the middle of a grass greenbelt, so not a lot of shade trees. Great for most of the year however. Do you have a particular unit picked out from VRBO or a realtor?

We would be going in April during Spring Break. I have reviewed many of the units on VRBO but have not selected any yet. My wife and daughter will be doing their shopping trips so I want to make sure I have things for my son to do. The condos sound great but I am not sure there will be enough for him.

I see your dilemma. It%26#39;s really a 50-50 toss up if first time with your family in the desert. Some of the condos have bikes in the garage for use. Lots of paths to ride around in the community. Some have TVs or CD players in each bedroom, some with video games. All that will be on the fact sheet.

There are movie theaters throughout the valley, and The River, is a great entertainment center. That is closer to Rancho las Palmas resort. You can take the Palm Springs Tram together.
