San Diego to Legoland

Now I know this is a how long is a piece of string? type of question and it all depends on rush hour and accidents etc,but what time would i have to leave San Diego to get to Legoland if it opens at 10.00am,we will be staying just off the San Diego freeway in Old Town and doing the journey on a Thursday.Cheers Rich
