New Years Eve in Santa Barbara

Hello, I will be there with my 18 yr. old daughter...I have looked--possibly in all the wrong laces--trying to find out what is planned for New Years in SB. So far, nothing. How can that be? Any suggestions? Thank you!

18 yr old can%26#39;t go into a bar...not quite sure what you are looking for. Your best bet would be a place where they serve food and drinks so she can get in.

Check out Soho, it%26#39;s a dinner/bar/live music place. They might have a party going on that your daughter can go to.

The Elks club may have something if you belong to that group.

NY Eve for us is usually Dinner at Chucks and a game of pool afterwards!

The Santa Barbara Symphony is playing at the Granada Theater on New Year%26#39;s Eve. The Granada%26#39;s website states: This year, the romantic songs of Gershwin will fill The Granada as Broadway star Lisa Vroman, hailed by Opera News as “an accomplished and imaginative artist,” returns to the stage with the Santa Barbara Symphony in a night of magical romance. Music from the light classics and motion pictures will round out this night of great music and celebration.

A Christmas Carol is also playing at the Granada on Dec 20 - 28.

Zodo%26#39;s usually has a great party and I believe she could get in to the bowling alley side.

Q%26#39;s, Tonic, Madisons are probably the best spots (or any other club on State Street downtown) but be aware that most clubs charge Cover Charges to get it tonight.
