Does anyone know what a cab ride costs from Amtrak Union Station downtown to LAX on a Sunday morning?

Hope someone can confirm but I believe it is a flat fare of $46.50.

It is $46.50 (plus tip) but you can also transfer from Union Station to LAX via the Flyaway Bus which pulls up behind the station in the bus plaza (usually in space #9). The fare is $4 per person (well, $6 after today) and the bus expresses to LAX, stopping at each of the terminals. There is free luggage storage available on the bus. You buy tickets for it adjacent to where the bus pulls up. Buses depart Union Station twice an hour, on the hour and the 1/2 hour.

Take the flyaway bus for sure,it willtake the same route as a taxi would(with no stops) and gets you there easy with a lot of $ saved
