The Hyatt or the Marriott Grand? Cant decide, any one?

Hello, my husband and I are planning a 3 night weekend to Tahoe. Fist timers.... I want to snowmobile, he wants to gamble..... These are the two hotels we are looking at, marriott grand or the Hyatt...Medium to a low high budget.... Thanks, Kelly

I%26#39;ve stayed at them both. Love them both alot. Stayed at the Grand in Sept and they had just completed a refurb so all the textiles and carpets are new. I have always really liked the spaciousness of the Grand units.

If it were summer, hands down the Hyatt. The Hyatt has all the amenities you%26#39;d want onsite like a spa, and dining.

The Grand has a nice spa but no onsite dining - no room service, but you have a kitchen and a great supermarket right across the street, Raleys. You can walk to the largest of the lake casinos from the Grand.

Either one you choose it will be great.

Totally agree with Suzie - these are my two go-to places to stay. Usually the Hyatt with my husband, and Marriott with friends. Hyatt has one on site smaller casino, and you will have to drive to the larger ones (North shore area). Marriott is very close to all of the Stateline casinos. Both are nice properties. I would recommend the south shore area for your first time, unless you like nature more than action. Have fun!
