Trip Report Nov/Dec 2008

We arrived in Anaheim on Sun 30th Nov and dumped our stuff in the Holiday Inn Express Maingate Hotel. We then took a walk up to the crosswalk in front of Disneyland ( 10-15 mins ). Based on the excellent recommendation by Darkbeer, we then took the OCTA 43 bus to Fullerton off Orangethorpe to visit the Disney Character Warehouse, eat at IN-N-OUT and shop at Henry%26#39;s supermarket.

We spent the next two days (Mon/Tues) at Disneyland and DCA. There were crowds it seemed to be busier on Tuesday. It was definitely not the low numbers suggested in many sites for the week after Thankgiving. It was however much lower then the Summer crowds. The weather was wonderful that week in between the bouts of rains for NOV/DEC.

I highly recommend the hotel we stayed in. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was good with the availability of hot items ( bacon/scrambled eggs and sausage/omelet on alternate days ). The walk was not too bad for us and our kids 10 and 12.

Sounds like you had a nice trip, thanks for reporting back. I%26#39;m also a fan of In n Out. The character warehouse sounds interesting, we have not been there yet. :)
