downtown disney

What time do the shops in Downtown Disney generally open? We are doing a7:00 am breakfast at Goofys Kitchen on a Mon, and the park doesn%26#39;t open till 10:00am

It depends on the time of the year, but usually most locations open at 10 or 11 AM, Some restaurants open earlier for breakfast, and you might find some places opening around 9 AM during the summer, when the park opens earlier.

Wow I didnt know Goofy%26#39;s Kitchen opened up that early....

Good to know!!

How long does one need to allow for some basic shopping and browsing through Downtown Disney?

Do you need to book prior for a table for dinner?

I%26#39;d allow a couple of hours for leisurely browsing, extra of course if you want to see a movie while you%26#39;re there. You can make priority seating reservations for the DTD restaurants by calling the Disney Dining number (714) 781-3463, but it is not necessary if you don%26#39;t mind waiting to be seated.

Is it good food? Overpriced? Worth the visit just for a meal?

It%26#39;s no cheaper than eating anywhere else in Disney. I had the best burger though at the LaBrea Bakery. It was about $13 but it was tasty. We like going to Downtown Disney the day we arrive in Anaheim, the day before our first park day. You could spend an hour or two there shopping and or eating. There is a McDonalds, Quiznos (toasted sandwiches) and Mimi%26#39;s Cafe across the street (Harbor Blvd) from the Disney shuttle entrance.

I like Downtown Disney. In general, the food is ok. There are some destination dining such as the character breakfasts or also Napa Rose

We also like to time it around the time the fireworks go off....and have beignets....

This is to answer if its worth going there to eat...and these are a couple of reasons why you would.

In terms of when the stores open, I concur with the replies already given. Have a wonderful time.

The restaurants in DTD vary in price and quality. There is plenty to choose from. Everyone has their favorites. Mine are Naples and Tortilla Jo%26#39;s. The guys really enjoy ESPNZone. House of Blues is convenient for lunch. We will often stop by DTD for dinner and a movie.
