Single girl - where to stay in LA

Hi,

I%26#39;m planning to spend a couple of nights in LA in mid March.

Can anyone suggest any places to stay. I cant splash out loads so something from budget to mid price would be good.

Also as i%26#39;m by myself would like to be in a good area and good transport links if possible.

Look into Celebrity Hollywood or Orchid Suites, both near transportation and sights, and both are good budget hotels.

I don%26#39;t know the Celebrity Hollywood but we stayed at Orchid Suites, which was very reasonable.

This is in a quiet area behind the Hollywood/Highland mall and there is a close transit link, and good restaurants in the mall if you don%26#39;t want to try the street.
