Hi planning to stay at holiday Inn North Point, Fishermans Wharf.
Looks like getting the BART is simplest cheapest option, but which is the best stop to get off, then how easy is it/ safe to get a cab for the final leg.
Cheers and happy New Year
SFO to Fishermans Wharf, BART and ?
There is another option, which whilst not as cheap as the BART, is still very good value.
You can get a shuttle from SFO which will take you straight to the front door of your hotel for $15.
You can book up and prepay, or just go to the stand and get the next available shuttle.
I%26#39;ve this one a couple of times, and it%26#39;s always been fine.

SFO to Fishermans Wharf, BART and ?
As previous poster mentioned there are door-to-door shuttles available at the airport (there are many different firms so I wouldn%26#39;t pre-book with a specific company on the SFO-%26gt;SF leg as you may wait for the one you%26#39;re booked with while 3 others are boarding and heading out).
If you%26#39;re still interested in a cab, get off BART at the Embarcadero station. That will bring you up at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and there is always a line of cabs there. According to http://sf.taxiwiz.com/ the trip to Fisherman%26#39;s Wharf will be about $9 before tip.
What with the $5.35 BART fare the door-to-door shuttle might be a better option.
Have a great trip.
