Surfrider vs other condo

I am hoping someone can help us decide where to stay on upcoming trip to San Diego. We will have a car. We are a family with 2 adults, a 2 year old and a one year old. We are hoping to enjoy the zoo, sea world, and the tide pools and weather in San Diego. We would like to be able a beach view and a oceanfront condo so we can dig in the sand with the kids.

We are considering the Surfrider. Does anyone have any opinions on this condo, specifically the cleanliness? Does anyone have any other specific suggestion on condos. We are in search of a 2 bedroom condo. Some of the oceanfront condos seemed to share an outdoor area. They seemed extremely exposed to the boardwalk. Maybe Feb would be so quiet that exposure is not a issue.

thank in advance for any suggestions.

The Winns

Surfrider vs other condo

We walk their often with our friends who live nearby.

I always say that I wouldn%26#39;t like to be right there at the boardwalk but families rent it all the time. I don%26#39;t remember this specific property, but most of them have a patio area that is next to the boardwalk itself.Feb. IS a quiet time so the boardwalk issue and more importantly the car parking issue may be less important.

Have you considered a place like Capri by the Sea which is a highrise? It is at the northern end of Pacific Beach and would offer you a spot further from the boardwalk, and parking, etc.
