disney and anaheim october

hi

have just book to come over for the middle two weeks of october. how busy is it going to be, do they tend to shut down rides?

October 12, 2009 is a monday holiday (3 day weekend) in the states (Columbus Day). This weekend will be busier. It is hard to predict which attractions will be closed, but we have always enjoyed going in the fall, nice weather and low crowds (this helps offset any attraction closure).

October should be a great time for your visit. They will have some Halloween events running. The park was nicely decorated for it this year.

Just remember, we tend to get real streaks of very hot weather in October, so bring your summer clothes along.

Hi, we were there Oct 08. It was really hot - def only summer clothes! In the weekend Disneyland was really busy as were some week days. You will have an absolutely fantastic time!!! We wish we could go back this year.
