I am traveling to San Francisco. What are the usual amounts to tip Taxis, hotel staff, tour guides, etc.?

Probably the same as in Mass. It%26#39;s about 20% (if you%26#39;re nice) for taxis, and a few dollars a day for hotel staff, tour guides. Restaurants are 15-20%.

Porters usually get a dollar per bag,Taxi drivers is obligitory usually 10% is the norm.
