Can i do Sea World and see La Jolla in one day

I am debating whether i should extend my stay in san diego on 18th or do Disney in LA.

IF i stay back , what do we do ? (we have 4 year old kid with us )

Can you please recommed some cheap and good hotels ...

Thanks and Cheerz !

I am not sure where you are coming from when your plane lands in LA. The drive to SanDiego is at least 1 1/2 hrs so am not sure you want to do that on your first night after a long flight.

San Diego is more than Sea World but it sounds like this trip is about animal or theme parks.

You can do many things here and walking in La JOlla is an easy visit on the way down from LA or on the way back up to Disney.

We have a world famous zoo in our Balboa Park.

There is also Legoland which is perfect for a 4 yearold.

It might even be better than Sea World, depending on your child.

What price range do you want for hotel.

';Cheap'; means different things to different people.

I think you will want a full day in SeaWorld, there are several shows there you will want to see (30 min. each) rides and cool exhibits. I would do La Jolla on another day. Enjoy your time in San Diego! :)

I would not try to both in one day. You would not do justice to either. Sea World is a full day. Time flies when you are there, especially when you catch all the shows, which you should.

I%26#39;d stay another day in San Diego if you can. There is a lot to do %26amp; see there, including Old Town or a harbor cruise. Or stop in La Jolla on the way back to LA. It doesn%26#39;t need a full day.

I would recommend 1 day of sightseeing in San Diego -- in one (admittedly full) day, you can cover:

Balboa Park, Coronado, Pacific Beach, Del Mar, La Jolla Cove and in the evening go to the Gaslamp Quarter for dinner. Have brunch/lunch on the beach in Del Mar or Pacific Beach. Go for Sunset in either La Jolla or to Mt. Soledad.

On a second day, do either Wild Animal Park/Zoo or Sea World.

So yes, 2 days in San Diego won%26#39;t be too much at all..
