Group of 20 for New Years (5 families of 4)

I%26#39;m trying to help organize some possiblities of places to stay for all 20 of us. We used to be stationed overseas and now live in the U.S. but in different parts. We would like someplace to get together to catch up. I would prefer a large house in the South Lake Tahoe area but they seem to be really costly, especially during that time of year. I wouldn%26#39;t even mind side by side condos. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You might think about contacting a rental agency in SLT to find accomodations that meet your budget and needs. Yours is a very unusual request given the large number of guests you need to accomodate. There is a home in SLT that would fit your group but I%26#39;m getting the impression that you might think $900 per night for that group is alot.

You are looking for the busiest time of the year at Tahoe outside the July 4th holiday and if you figure a family of 4 would pay more than $149 per night for medium accomodations you are way past $1000 for the group of 20.

Sorry about the bad math. Not way past $1000 but near to the $900 per night at a home all together.

I realize that I will be paying a lot more during this time of year. I%26#39;ve checked into some cabins %26amp; condos and the price is not much cheaper, if at all. Since that seems to be the case, I would prefer to pay a little more to have us all under the same roof providing it%26#39;s spacious enough.

Here%26#39;s the house I was talking about:

But there are cheaper homes on VRBO like these:

Or this one which is up on the Kingsbury grade so it%26#39;s pretty far from the town area:

Thanks for much for the helpful info.
