Was in SD back in October and am dying to get back. We are thinking of coming back in May. What can we expect for weather? 60%26#39;s? Plan to stay downtown but would like to have a pool and visit beach one day but wonder if it is worth it at this time of year. Is Memorial Day weekend crazy if we waited that long?

Frequently is May we have our marine layer overcast called ';May Gray'; - the marine clouds hang near the coastal areas until late into the afternoon.
Or, it could be beautiful and sunny - just an FYI on our May weather.
