We enjoyed two spa services (facial AND scalp massage/wash/blowdry) at the Cinta Aveeda Institute (www.cintaavedainstitute.com/salon_spa.htm). Absolutely fabulous -- luxury treatments including aromatherapy for a very small cost by students. Enjoy! By the way, appointments are necessary.

I enjoyed a 90-minute facial for $50. The service included a foot bath, lots of aromatherapy, scalp massage with oil, massage, and a customized facial (no extractions, though). Very nice!
The next day, I returned for a scalp massage with oil/ aromatherapy, a wash, and blowdry (straight). The total for that entire service was $17.
The Institute has a very young, hip vibe and is full of vibrant students. I was made very comfortable while there. If super-posh accommodations are expected, look elsewhere. Otherwise, I think most anyone would enjoy their time at the Institute....especially when factoring in the great prices!
By the way, tipping is acceptable; however, you must give the tip directly to the student in the form of cash. Payments for services may be made by credit card or cash.
