We will be visiting Legoland week of April 20th -- maybe on a Wednesday or Thursday. Have some questions:
-- will be driving from Anaheim. Whats best time to drive and to go back home? We%26#39;re thinking of doing Legoland for a day (purchase tickets thru Costco) and then catch dinner and buy some stuff at the premium outlet in Carlsbad
-- 2nd question: how far a drive is the premium outlet from Legoland?
-- How far a drive is Anaheim to Carlsbad? Driving back home, we%26#39;re thinking of driving back past 9 or 10PM
-- Recommended route for Legoland? Any must ride attractions? Do they have entertainment like in Disneyland?
-- Breakfast near Legoland before the park opens?
-- Whats the weather like end April?

Legoland QuestionsLegoland and the outlet mall are barely 1/2 mile apart.
If you Google Carlsbad Premium Outlets you will see a map and if you go right on the map you will see Legoland.
I%26#39;d estimate that the drive should take 1 -1 1/2 hrs.
I believe Legoland is more interactive than Disneyland. There are things to do/play with ,as opposed to watching shows.
Weather will be similar to Disneyland and LA weather.
You can count on temps in the high 60sand low 70s during the day with cooler temps at night. Layers are always a good idea.

Legoland QuestionsSorry to hijack your thread. I didn%26#39;t realise there was a premium outlet in Carlsbad! I am so excited. Are the shops and prices similar to the one near Palm Springs? I hear that Palm Springs has great outlet shopping.

Legoland does have shows as well as rides. They also have a kids play area with slides/houses/ladders and two water areas. Bring a change of clothes for the kids as they WILL get wet.
