I am staying in LA for 1 night. On a recent post I was recomended to stay in the Elan or the Sofitel near the Beverley Centre, as i need to shop on my 1 day. Unfortunatley there is no availablity at either for the dates i need.
Does anyone have any other hotels that are not too expensive but clean and recomended? I know the area of the Beverley Centre / Grove etc and that seems like the best place for us as everything we need will be close by.
Any help would be great X
hotels near the Beveley Centre - HELP??!!Wow, both hotels are booked? What reession? Guess not in L.A.,lol
There are plenty of hotels along the Sunset Strip, Best Western Sunset Plaza, Mondrian, the new Anez(spell, used to be the riot hyatt). From there it is a 15/20 minute walk to the Beverly Center, 5 min carride or you could take the little Dash shuttle bus from sunset for 25 cents during the day(also can take the same bus the opposite direction to Hollywood/Highland)
Another advantage would be that you are on the Sunset Strip and walk to nice restaurants or bars/lounges at night with having to get in your car.
hotels near the Beveley Centre - HELP??!!Uups, guess I had my own cost aka letter cutting and eliminated the ';s'; in resession
What are your travel dates? It%26#39;s possible that there are rooms available but you haven%26#39;t found a source that has them.
Consider the Orlando Hotel, 8384 West Third Street, Los Angeles CA 90048. The hotel is between the Beverly Center (to the west) and the Grove (to the east) -- both, within walking distance.
Also, consider Le Parc Suite, 733 N West Knoll Dr
West Hollywood, CA 90069 -- also, within walking distance (north of the Beverly Center in a quiet, residential area).
But, do tell us your travel dates!
thanks, i will have a look into all suggestions. My dates are the 25th April (Sat) for night. 2 people, sharing one room (2 beds if poss).
i wonder if you guys can help me with my car hire. I am using Budget and they have given me 3 options of pick up points
Airport
Union Station
Nara Financial Centre
which one am i best picking the car up from (on the Sunday)? Or am i best to rent the extra day pick it up at the airport and drive to the hotel on the Saturday??
Did you end up getting a hotel near Beverly Center? Nara Financial Center is the closest of the three locations that you mentioned to the Beverly Center if you are going to pick up the car after you%26#39;re settled in your hotel. If you pick up from the airport when you arrive, consider that renting at the airport is generally more expensive than at other locations (extra city taxes and fees for airport car rental locations), and you may have to pay to park the car at your hotel an extra night. On the other hand, you may end up saving money by not needing to take a taxi or shared van to and from the hotel when you arrive/depart from LAX.
