Just recently I have been seeing that all the hotels that were in development a couple of months ago are now up and running. Has anyone stayed at any of the new hotels lately?
New Hotels in ClovisOnly two are open, others are still under construction.
So far the Fairfield and Holiday Inn Express have opened. They got a good shake down, opening just before the Tour of California which filled rooms all over the area.
Hopefully you can get a review of those two.
I drove by the Hilton Garden Inn last week and it still needs a few more weeks of work (on the exterior it needs landscaping, parking lot stripes, etc). They plan on a June opening.
Then there are the Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn currently under construction on Clovis Avenue. They should open the end of the year.

No, I am not affiliated with any of the new hotels. I travel to the Clovis/Fresno area a lot and am looking for a new hotel to stay at.
I would go with the Fairfield, the website shows the rooms, they are very colorful and cheerful. You will be close to Old Town where you could dine at Trelio if you like fine dining. There are lots of retsaurants there, we are weekly regulars at the Corner Cafe for lunch, La Posada is a great choice for Mexican food. Have fun! :)
