In San Diego for a week and looking to sample some wines. First, would you recommend a visit to the nearby wineries? Second, would you drive or take one of the coach tours? Thanks.

Here is a website that has a listing of San Diego and nearby wineries. I can%26#39;t comment on any of the San Diego wines except for Wilson Creek Almond Champagne (and it is fantastic!)
