We are coming to LA in late June and are wondering when when summer vacations start

Summer Holidays

For many colleges and universities, the Summer begins in May. For the high schools and elementary grade schools(the bulk) then around the middle of June.

If you are coming in late June, then all the schools will be on holiday.

Summer Holidays

All schools will be on vacation by late June, however I think it%26#39;s less crowded to visit tourist sites than in August. By the end of summer, everyone realizes school starts in Sept. and everything is crowded with people fitting in vacations.
