Elopement ideas

Hi.

My girlfriend and I are trying to plan to elope this summer and would like some ideas. Before everyone shouts - The Post Ranch Inn! Our friends got married there so that%26#39;s off the list. BUT we do basically want something similar. Ideally on the coast line or any really nice outdoors spot with a bit of luxury thrown in for the accommodation. And we would like to get married outside so somewhere with a bit of privacy would be nice - so not on the golden gate bride!

Seriously, do you mean an actual ';elopement'; where you sneak away and nobody knows? Or do you mean a ';surprise wedding';?

Yeah an elopement. Just me and my girlfriend and the officiant. We just want to go somewhere really nice for a few days, somewhere we could never really justify going for a regular holiday and during our stay have a very small ceremony to make everything official.

It doesn%26#39;t have to be somewhere that does an elopement package, I%26#39;m happy to make the arrangements myself...

Mendocino. Lots of nice places to stay. Beautiful coastline. Ministers, photographers, flowers, etc. available in town.
