Hi,

We have secured reservations at Gordon Ramseys Restaurant the London for a saturday eve.We are taking our 3 teenagers and I would love them to get dressed up a bit (they live in jeans!)Does everyone get dressed for dinner, if it was London they would need to but know LA a lot more laid back!

Also I read on here that you can go to the hotel%26#39;s rooftop bar for a drink after the meal.Will my teenagers be welcome, are they allowed in a hotel bar even though they are too young to drink legally?

They must be 21 to go to the bar.

Jeans with nice shoes and great top is fine, LA is a casual place. But really, however they would dress in London is how they should dress here.

You do know that Gordon Ramsey has nothing to do with the restaurant anymore? The same chef is there that opened the restaurant, but Ramsey himself is not affiliated with the place.

L.A. is a casual bar, you can leave your kids in jeans with a nice shirt, jacket maybe(compromise maybe? ) All will be fine

I think Gorden Ramsay already bailed on the restaurant, so not sure if at this point he is really in charge, Still a great place though and I am sure food will be exceptional

As for the rooftop, your kids can be there just not in the area that serves alcohol or where you could consume alcohol(i know, silly laws,. but they are laws after all) So you could probably bring them up there, just if you want to drink your cocktail, that would be in an restricted area that your kids could not access( they could enjoy the view though in the meantime which is pretty much impressive from up there)

Thanks for the info - we are also eating at the restaurant (also a Sat night so may see you there alyr33 ;) ) I was just going to wing it and hope I was dressed ok lol

Good to know also I can go up to the roof for a cocktail after - lucky I am waaay over 21 :)
