Trip Report - 3/20 - 3/24 So Much Fun!

Hello!

Better late then never - right! Sister from Denver met me on Friday night and it just got better and better!

I did early check in at the Omni (Shuttle outside the baggage door..$8.00+2.00 = 10.00)we were on the 15th floor overlooking the city...but that was fine!

Day 1 - Starbucks downstairs, walking to SeaPort Village (1hr - lots of pictures along the way!) Enjoyed just browsing along - walked up to Anthony%26#39;s for a great lunch! Was going to do the Star of India and boats...but was running late for dinner plans...walked back to the hotel..had as much fun going back as we did earlier that morning! Hot Tub soak and out for the night! Doors?! At 2am? People laughing and slamming doors?!? (Made the pipe cover on the ceiling, in our bathroom fall down!) Not the hotel%26#39;s fault...guests bad manners! Go back to sleep.

Day 2 - Rain in the morning..that%26#39;s ok, we had a lot of work to do on our laptops so we stayed in until lunch. Walked to Hard Rock - it was good to stretch our legs! Good Lunch..funny pictures along the way! Back to hotel...sister works...I take the Trolley to the pier where friends were going to on Cruise ship to Hawaii...I was to take pics of their sail away...no one came out to wave good bye!!!:0(

Back to hotel...gotta love the Trolley back and forth! Grabbed fish tacos-yum!- at Tin Fin by hotel..take back and watch NCAA BB - Hotel Hot Tub 9-10..crash for the night-fantastic!

Day 3 - Trolley down to Santa Fe stop - 2 blocks from Pier. Catch Ferry (7.00 r/t) to Coronado...check out shops...Bus (1.00) to Hotel Del. Beautiful day...waves pretty rough, we grabbed a sandwich and drinks and went down by water for lunch. Shopped a little around hotel. Bus back to Ferry, Ferry back to pier. Walk to Santa Fe Trolley stop...catch Trolley to El Cajon - to meet family out there. Back to Omni by Trolley..it worked out fine! Everyone was very nice and friendly..except one guy that we named the %26#39;Mad Rapper%26#39; - The more we ignored him the louder he Rapped, whew...here is his stop! Back to Hotel...one more hot tub soak and lights out!

Day 4 - Really ...Already time to go home?! :0( So we packed our bags, went to Petco park and just looked around, over to Hard Rock Hotel for a breakfast/lunch at MaryJanes...very good! To the hotel for check out. Trolley to bus stop @ Santa Fe stop, will take you right to the Airport. We were trying to get our $ out when here came the Trolley..the driver asked if we%26#39;re headed to the Airport (luggage right by us!) we said yes, just a sec and we%26#39;ll get our tickets..he said No! Just come get on - don%26#39;t worry about it - we%26#39;d have to wait for the next one! Woo Hoo! He even helped sis with her bags! Off the Trolley...on to Bus to the airport in about 1 hour! Sweeeet!

Ok, we missed BalBoa park, LaJolla and the boats...that%26#39;s why we%26#39;re coming back next year!! :0)

Omni - We loved it! Everyone so helpful!

Eating out - Everything - Very Good!

San Diego - Beautiful - Clean - Easy to get around!

Some times it seems to me when some people are on vacation, manners need not apply.
