Motels on PCH near Malibu

Our first time out to California this month, and we want to spend some time on the beach in Malibu. Casa Malibu Inn on the Beach is booked, and it looks like there aren%26#39;t too many other options in Malibu itself. Anyone recommend other hotels that are on PCH / on the beach and nearby?

Motels on PCH near Malibu

There are no motels on the beach in Malibu, but there are two directly across the street, on PCH itself. Be careful you don%26#39;t choose one of the motels on PCH that are not near the Pier, as there are a couple, but are near Point Dume.

Malibu is not known for its variety/choice of motels/hotels - there are only a few properties and that%26#39;s it.
