Catalina in February?

My husband and I are thinking of a weekend in Catalina in mid-February. If it happens to be rainy weather is there enough to do on the island for a couple of days?

We are really just looking for a relaxing weekend without our kids, but still would like some reason to be out and about.

My first thought is that you live in Portland; you already know how to fill rainy days. You will find that people actually live on the island year-round, and they have stuff to do. Without knowing what you and your hubby like to do to fill your time, it is hard to say if there is enough to do. Catalina in February?

We like to stay at the Pavilion Lodge right in the heart of Avalon. It%26#39;s among the shops and restaurants. It%26#39;s just a short walk from the Express boat harbor.The nice thing is that they have a large grass patio and courtyard to sit outside and read, and server Continental breakfast outdoors too.

What kind of activities do you like to do? There are glass bottom boat tours, coach tours of the interior, golf, etc.
