WE are coming to San Diego this coming week and want to thank everyone on this site for all your information.

I have a question regarding parking. If you are to go to a restaurant in old town or go and pick up food for take out what are the fees to park a car for 20 min or 2 hour dinner duration??

Thanks riffsmom. So most plaza%26#39;s that have ie grocery store, wine store there is no parking fees.?

In downtown area gaslamp is it metered parking along the street or parking pay lots?

IF you mean a strip mall when you say';plaza'; then yes usually free parking spaces.

Downtown= meters,pay lots ,

+ Horton plaza Mall with 3 hrs. free just validate your parking ticket and Seaport Village Mall,2 hrs. when validated by store.
