Santa Monica Ocean view room

hi

There%26#39;s a chance I%26#39;ll go to SM in sept 09%26#39;. I%26#39;m looking for a hotel by the beach near the pier with a great view (if it has a balcony better) of the ocean.

I can afford a price around 250 per night... I think I would stay 6 nights....

Santa Monica Ocean view room

Your budget is too low for much of Santa Monica. The only hotels that are within your price range and have a possible view are:

Holiday Inn (but the views are not directly of the beach. You%26#39;ll need to look left or right a little).

Hotel California: Only some rooms have views of the beach and balconies.

Ocean View Hotel: Some rooms face the ocean but the hotel gets mixed reviews. It%26#39;s overall rating is #26 out of 35 hotels that are reviewed here on Trip Advisor.

sorry to bother but which would be the best option to stay if I priorize the ocean view with balcony??

I would recommend Ocean View Hotel, which has direct ocean view rooms with a balcony, free internet access, free breakfast, and great location (across from beach, one block from pier and third street promenade). The rooms are clean with pillowtop beds, especially the ocean view rooms. The most affordable for the area. The bad reviews are not a good representation of the hotel.
