Need a triple room in Hollywood & cab to S.Monica question

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a hotel in Hollywood. I can%26#39;t seem to find any decent hotels with triple rooms. Main priorties are central with a great sunbathing/pool area.

Also, how long by cab from Hollywood to S.Monica? Is it hugely expensive?

All help most appreciated.

Cab from Hollywood to Santa Monica is about $55 each way, maybe more with tip.

Hollywood Roosevelt has a great pool and allows three to a room.

You just walk from the Roosevelt for about 10 minutes to Santa Monica Blvd and take the # 704 rapid express bus. Takes you there in no time(about the same time as a taxi would , give or take 10 minutes) and only costs $ 1.25

You could also take the # 780/212 or 217 from Hollywood/Highland in case you dont want to walk to Santa Monica Blvd and transfer from there to the # 704(which runs frequently aka every couple of minutes during the day/8pm)
