What are you looking for and what is your price range? Do you want to be in Palm Springs, or one of the beautiful resorts in Palm Desert/Rancho Mirage?
There are nice 1950 motels in PS, and a Hyatt suite hotel in the middle of town which would sleep all 3 of you. It is great for walking to the restaurants.
Will you be renting a car?
