rainy day vacation with toddler in SF

I%26#39;m getting news that it will be rainy when we vacation out there. Any advice for indoor museums/activities my 3 yr old will love while in the city? Pls advise and thank you for your input!

First of all, I would not really count on it raining.

Weather reports here are spotty because they depend upon where the fronts are coming in from the west or the north and they change.

If it does rain, April rains are usually short and light.

Bring some light rain gear and go ahead with your plans, is my advice.

The Exploratorium, in the Marina District is wonderful for children, and I think, even for a 3-year old. Geez, I can%26#39;t even get myself out of there %26lt;grin%26gt;

I am upset because the new website makes it look complicated and intellectual.

A lot of their exhibits are fascinating to toddlers with your help, of course.

I may write them a complaint letter about ';false intellectual advertising';...geez..
