Hotels. Areas ?? Have car ??

Hi indi - if you could provide us with a few more details it would help us to answer your question. First, what types of activities are you looking to do during your stay? Any particular attractions or sights that you are hoping to see? Also, what is your budget for your hotel room per night?

Santa Monica is located on the far west side of the city. Its the most centrally %26amp; best located of the beach areas. West Hollywood is more centrally located with respect to the overall city, but is of course farther from the beach. West Hollywood %26amp; next door Hollywood are the city%26#39;s centers for night life, if that%26#39;s important to you.

Also,include your travel dates since hotel prices vary from season to season.

You can also look over our FAQs section (a link at the TOP of the TOPIC LIST) where you will find such topics as ';NEIGHBORHOODS'; and ';Itinerary Ideas';

OK, so we are in town from 29th May to 2nd June (4 nights). We are looking to cover all the sites as well as have maybe 1 or 2 nights out in clubs etc...

Have been thinking about the Sofitel in West Hollywood ???

Hi indi - Sofitel is a very nice hotel in a great part of town, IMHO. Its pretty central - Hollywood %26amp; West Hollywood are short drives, its on the edge of Bevery Hills and Santa Monica isn%26#39;t too far either. Its across the street from a huge mall (Beverly Center), along with loads of boutique-esque shopping nearby on Melrose Ave and Beverly Blvd. There%26#39;s also all sorts of restaurants within a short distance, ranging from lower end type places in the Beverly Center to some very upscale places along the famous ';Restaurant Row'; on La Cienega Blvd. The only disadvantage is that the clubs %26amp; bars are a bit further than walking distance, more along Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood and then over into Hollywood itself, as you%26#39;ll have a car won%26#39;t be a problem getting there, of course, but of course with enough alchohol, may be a problem getting back! :) So for that be sure to have a designated driver or use a taxi.

A second vote for the Sofitel which, although CLOSE to West Hollywood, is not IN West Hollywood.
