Hi All,
I just wanted to let everyone know that we finalized our itinerary for June 4th private wine tour with Max of Max Napa tours and I couldn%26#39;t be happier. He was wonderful when I called to reserve the tour and he has been very responsive to every email that I have sent. I%26#39;ve changed the itinerary 3 or 4 times because I didn%26#39;t realize my original vineyard picks were so far apart and he was great about it. He suggested vineyards similar the the ones I wanted and offered various options. We finally decided on Clos du Bois, Lancaster and Korbel plus we will stop at others as time allows and of course stop for lunch. Max never once lost his patience with me; and I%26#39;m a tough customer ;) truly excellent customer service. I couldn%26#39;t be happier and we are so excited for June 1st when we arrive in San Fran.
On a side note, I also had great luck with extranomical who we used last Oct. We are using them again on June 2nd for Muir Woods and Wine tour but didn%26#39;t want to end up at all the same vineyards as October. They are being great and ensuring we get at least 2 different vineyards. Also, they accomodated my request to go back to the Sonoma cheese factory- I love cheese so its a great treat!
So our trip is finalized... so very exciting:
June 1st - free day and Alcatrez night tour
June 2nd - Extranomical Muir Woods %26amp; Wine Tour
June 3rd - Whatever we want
June 4th - Private Wine Tour with Max Napa (to celebrate my bff and I turning 30)
June 5th - rented a car to drive the coast and maybe do the Winchester house
June 6th - free day
June 7th - free morning and flying home
For those trying to budget their trip, I know I%26#39;m always curious so we got flights/hilton on ofarrel for $715 plus max napa tour/extranomical tour/rentalcar/tastings/alcatrez for $303 - total $1,018... I didn%26#39;t think it was bad for a 30th bday celebration for 4 friends. Hope this info helps some ppl and really I strongly recommend Max based on service so far!

Please do let us know how this goes. Put ';Trip Report'; in the subject line and it will help others on everything from itinerary to vendors to prices. People are always asking about tours, which, of course, is something that locals don%26#39;t have reason to do, at least, not usually. Any intelligence on what tour you took, the vendor, and your experience will be well appreciated by travelers who come after you.
